Woo hoo! It's at the dealer!!!

Sorry chaps but it's not until next weekend we're collecting I'm afraid! Just one more slooooowwwww week and we'll have it.

I did however have the gloveless chap fired, it seems harsh but lessons must be learnt.

Congrats, but can't hide feeling jealous - my 28i is not at the dealer till 1st wk July, build wc 18 June.

Well, after a week of sleepless nights like a kid before christmas, today we collected the new Zed.

We are ecstatic with it. We never even sat in an E89 before collecting this one so it was a real experience.

It was inside the dealership on collection and was already garnering a lot of attention when we got there, I have to admit to a sense of pride when people realised we were going to be driving off in it.

I took some quick pics in the dealership but I am no David Bailey so better pics will have to follow but these should do for now.

Bing, it's my fourth BMW, second z4, never had a problem with any of them......but on reflection it was still rather a big gamble! I've never even bought a t-shirt without trying it on first!!!

I totally didn't make the connection though - did you collect it from Arden at Larkfield ? I was there at Sainsbury's this morning and nearly went for a sneaky browse as it was early... Gutted I didn't if yours was there, as I'd probably still have been drooling when you arrived :lol:

Everytime my daughter sees a yellow car, she shouts "yellow car" and punches me in the arm. You lot aren't helping! :)

My sincere apologies, if it's any consolation you can think of all the miles of smiles I'm getting every time you look at the bruises.
