I thought I'd take a moment and post this from across the pond to my "mates" in the mother country:

I had to share this with the rest of the Z(ed) family...
So my 14 year old son loves driving around in the Z with the top down. In fact he can't wait to get his permit so he can start driving the car.
Anyway, we're sitting in traffic last Saturday and he says, out of the blue, I bet you $5 no one makes a comment on the car while we're sitting here.

We shook hands and I'm not kidding...as our hands were releasing a kid in the SUV(Truck) next to us yells, "Hey Mister...we LOVE your car"

Owning a Z4- $30k
Stopping to put gas in- $25
Winning $5 bucks off your 14 year old when they think they know everything- PRICELESS

If that price was for full tank :thumbsup: ,but here in Rip off britain i paid £55 ($85) for a full tank, the goverment are absolutely fleecing us here :thumbsdown:
 
Yes, My cousin lives 20-30 miles south of Birmingham, UK (I'm about 20-30 miles south of Birmingham, Alabama) and he says it's outrageous for petrol (gas) there.
I paid around £1.80 per gallon the other day...that's about $2.90 U.S..

By the way, he just got back from being stuck in the Canary Islands and extra week on Holiday...he said it was tough but someone had to do it for the good of the country. :D

Not trying to rub it in...promise.

We have a 2007 Mustang GT along with the Zed4. Life is pretty good here!
I was born in the US but my Mum is British so I have a huge soft spot for Blighty
