Just shows how ppe can save lives.

Great news for GB sport, Jenny was about to retire when the event was accepted for the Olympics and now the first ever medal on snow. What a champion.

:D

Lots of coverage of the snowboarding and extreme stuff, , two of our girls (sisters) got Gold and Silver yesterday in moguls, the third sister was 12th, and those snowboard ladies are all so cute  ..... or maybe I'm just old .. or both

I'm just watching speed skating, by god them women have some legs, I'd not want to be head lock with any of those legs

Did you see the interview with Jenny? I thought it was hysterical that she apologised for her mother saying that "she was from up north"

*edit* - just saw it again, she said her mother is very Northern

Is that on now? I switched off when the blokes starting dancing on ice, right turn off ...

God forbid... You'd end up with callouses on your tongue

Congratulations to Ms. Jones & Great Britain.

Being a retired military man. I couldn't help but notice that what I would assume are Russian soldiers that were manning the flag poles. Were actually saluting the flags of the winning countries during the national anthems. It's not required nor is it normally expected. And is a very respectful gesture. I was taught to face the foreign countries flag and to remain at attention, But no saluting. Well done to the Russians.

The "tricks" the women do on the snowboarding are nothing near as good as the mens yesterday. Why is that?

The women look much much nicer though!

Must be a little frustrating that the guys who do not get any medals are still 10 times better than the women doing a much simpler version.

Can't stand the commentators of the snow boarding though, sound like 15 year olds using language I have never heard before.

They aren't 15 , they are 17 yr old hasbeens talking about 15 yr olds in 20 yr old bodies.......and they never smoke pot, ever. 8) 8) 8)

Remember Vancouver, our top guy tested for pot, ooh, big surprise.
