Women I'd marry

No, she makes plenty of her own money and always will. She doesn't need a man who makes a ton. Money doesn't make one happy anyway in the sense that I am speaking of it. :P

The quote "money cannot buy you happiness" was probably written by someone who was not rich :fuelfire:

Number 1 cause of divorce in North American - you guessed it!! $$$$

I was just thinking that the other day  Shitloads of cash would certainly make me happy :D

Well... it certainly wouldn't make me sad. OK, so it won't BUY you happiness (which is an emotion) but it will buy you a ton of stuff that'll make you happy. Happiness is the secondary endpoint, and that's just fine by me.

Can't argue that! It is also true that a lack of money will cause problems.

Rick - Very nice looking girl there! I have to agree to disagree with you about "things" that you can buy making you happy. Of course there is different types of happiness. I tend to think the "things" that money can buy can bring you joy, but not necessarily make you happy. An excellent example of this is my Z4. I bought the Zed with my X-wife's IRA money after the judge awarded it to me as a kind of "F you" to her - the Z4 is her dream car and we were saving up for one for her. The Zed brings me great Joy and Satisfaction, and I absolutely love driving it - but it doesn't make me happy. I'm still sad that my x-wife decided to do what she did and that it put an end to our marriage.

You were married? So I guess the rumors of your being a virgin were totally untrue. :tumbleweed: Haha J/K.

BTW, do you know who that picture is of?

Not to nit pick or anything AJ, but she would be your "ex-wife" and not "x-wife." :poke:

You are right - the Z4M makes me only 90% happy. For a 100% happiness I really should order that Carrera 4S. I have been told that if I order it prior to Sepetmber 2008 then I can pick it up in Germany in June 2009. I will drive it for 2-3 weeks and then drop it off to be shipped off. I will still have the Z4M till Sepetember 2009 and the Carrera 4S should show up here by that time. This is all due to the fact that I have some $$ since I have never been hitched :P 0 if I had been marriend I would be driving a mini-van like Ricky Boobie did in Toronto :fuelfire:

Thanks for the correction, enfield. I type some things differently like kewl instead of cool. and x-wife instead of ex-wife, and Christmas instead of that other way of abbreviating it that I will never type, and wanna instead of want to, and y'all instead of you all...ect.

He's never gonna live that one down.

enfield - go for the Porsche, mate! My buddy's got a '07 Boxter and that thing is awesome! I feel so kewl whenever I get to ride in it. He's never let me drive it yet though - even though I let him drive the Zed home from the dealer when he drove me there to pick it up! That was a car shuffle nightmare LOL.

THAT WAS JUST A RENTAL!!!!! :x

Actually... I must confess. I'm not 100% happy with Emma either. I've been thinking about the GT-R as of late. Is that considered cheating? :o

BTW, a Boxster isn't considered a real Porsche. :fuelfire:

I prefer mine simple, down to earth, and a good head on their shoulders. Money can provide comfort and a sense of happiness, but the truest aspect is that you have to be happy with yourself before you can ever be happy with anyone else. Anything else is just momentary satisfaction
