Woman suing surgeon over temporary tattoo

I would have done something altogether different while she was under and before I used a scalpel. That would have left a temporary mark as well.
 
Good thing he didn't leave a "get well soon" card in her room. She'd have sued him over that too. Damn lawyers suck!
 
What would have happened if the patient was a man and he found a temporary tattoo under his shorts line? My doctor is a women and she regularly does things to me that some men pay women to do. :oops: When I see the rubber glove and the lube I know what she is going to do. :thumbsdown: Anyway, if she did surgery on me and left a temporary tattoo, I would laugh it off and give her a hard time about it in a funny way the next time I saw her. :lol: Get a lawyer? Think about that next time you pay for your health insurance.

In my opinion, punitive damages should be made illegal. :evil:
 
Is it one of those stick on tattoes? Those you have to lick first before you push it on? Wonder which part he licked though ... :o
 
I agree that there are too many lawsuits, but I don't see this as so frivolous. He violated her trust by touching her in an area he had right to touch. Any other person who touched her there without her permission would be brought up on criminal charges. He had no right to do that! I challenge anyone to go to the beach and find a lady sleeping in a bikini, pull the bottom down and apply a temp tattoo. Good luck explaining that! :?
 
I should keep my big mouth shut, but here goes. I have worked in the hospital environment for quite a few years after I retired from my original occupation. I have latterly seen and touched hundreds of women below the panty line. Anyone in nursing does the same. I have not only worked on women, but men as well. To be honest while you are working you have to remind yourself if you are working on a man or women. You just do not notice it anymore. Sometimes female patients would say half jokingly that other male nurses just wanted to see them naked. If they knew how ridicules that statement was they would not say it. I would have been very happy to never see one more naked woman in the hospital.

Any surgery would involve many medical personnel, male and female in the operating room. During the surgery her panties were probably removed completely. Especially if she had general anesthesia she was more than likely cauterized.

The doctor here was not very smart to put a tattoo on any patient considering peoples attitude about suing for anything these days. A complaint letter to the local state medical oversight authority would have been sufficient. If this is a true event, there must be a lot more we do not know about the situation.

I will shut up now and go back to my old geezer activities working on web pages. :)

Actually I agree and especially with a complaint letter to the local state medical oversight authority which is usually the Dept of Health for the State where this took place. However, I would wager this will proceed to an undisclosed settlement by the doctor's insurance provider.
