Woke up with a bang..

I was woken just after midnight to a huge bang, after looking out of my bedroom window to check on the newly detailed z4 I realized the pavement directly behind the car was on fire 6-8 inch flames and at least 4 foot long! :sos: I did consider saving the cat and actually driving through the flames. Within ten minutes the whole street was amass of blue flashing lights, thinking it was gas and everyone evacuated. Turns out this morning it was a high voltage cable that went booom a matter of feet from the z4 :dizzy:

Jeeez, very lucky. Take it that nobody was hurt. Good news on the Zed being safe and sound.

I thought you were going to say it was a spontaneously combusting moggy for a minute!! :D

Close call - glad it wasn't gas, could have been minus a Z. And a house

I woke with a bang the other day too. Slightly less unpleasant than your experience :|

:D :P  The high voltage cable that went boooom was next to a gas pipe so everyone in the street especially me is extremely lucky including my moggy and z4. Road works for awhile to live with but at least the z4 is now back on the drive
