Sun has come out and its gone!!

less than what i would of liked for it at £6000 but somebody out there has a very nice car!!

I have referred him onto this site anyway so im sure some pics may be shared!

ill will continue to do the 108s anyway so if anyone needs me you know where i am :)

May sound crazy with the petrol prices etc, but with another bambino on the way I'm going for a Nissan murano 3.5 v6 - 23mpg avg but planning on LPG conversion ASAP..

The good thing is you can get them the same price as I sold and they are really nicely specked. Rear reversing cams, heated leather, sat nav plus much more!!

I'm kinda excited of a bigger car, will post pics of it when I get one!

Congrats Leon. Long time coming. You must be a happy chap.

Glad you're still doing the 108s, I believe the current set on my car may be the next set you get in? :)

On the LPG side of things, where are you planning on getting it done?

Bloody hell, some sort of record surely?! Nicely done, congrats on the new arrival and good luck with the new motor

Get a big LPG tank. 23mpg on petrol means you get about 18 - 19 on LPG.

Just make sure you are happy with the whole LPG thing, I had one car with LPG and would never want one again with the difficulty in getting the LPG, the frequent servicing and mess in the engine bay with additional components and hoses. Not sure if ever saved me any money.

+1 on this. Work out all costs of conversion, servicing etc per year and compare to standard as it may actually take you a longer time than you think before you start saving money.

Good advice when you think about it.

Place in Nuneaton for about £1400 heard good reviews. You heard of any decent places?

Done quite a bit of research and these guys seem the best http://www.professautogas.co.uk

When I rang around a few companies they slag off the cheap polish firms. I went to see an English bloke that had 15 years experience and was 50% more expensive than Profess Autogas. He put a tank in my boot and claimed it was 60 litres, I read the info plate and it was 40, he then looked confused. There's a lot of bullshit in the LPG converting industry. It probably won't be popular on here but there will be some pics of my LPG Z on here soon. Will save me about £135 per month so around 7 months to break even then happy days! :driving:

Hmm prob good advice, I reckon 7mpg loss to me is about £7 a week extra as I don't dO many miles but when I do work pays 45p a mile so planning on doing more work journeys to pay for it!!

Loved the z4 always have but I figured I sell it now or struggle when the baby is born in October!!

So was I! I think it's just scaremongering into paying over the odds. I was told that one day conversions are shoddy/impossible - I would agree if one guy was doing it but they put a specialist in the boot, another on the engine and another to link the 2 up and it still takes around 10 hours. I think the guys that slag off the poles are trying to justify their margins. LPG has been around in Poland for a long time and the cost of converting over their is more like £500. The kits Profess use are AC Stagg and a reputable firm.

I will report back and get abliterated when done!
