Wobbly RPM on startup

I noticed this over the last couple of days, when starting the car from cold the idle RPM (viewed from the tach) wobbles a bit (by around 500-700rpm). No issues on start up, sparks into life without issue or delay, doesn't seem to be any voltage issues and when driving the car is responsive and smooth without any noticeable hesitation. I am slightly concerned that this may be the symptoms of an impending problem?

3.0Si Coupe N52 engine just over 60k miles.

Can't help on the problem at all by mine has been doing this intermittently for a few months now.. will be interested to see what others say

Mine also does this. Think its something to do with the vanos solenoids but I don't really know. If someone has had this on their N52 and fixed it I would be interested in finding out how.

I had similar then a while later an intermittent VANOS solenoid EML. Cleaned it up and it stayed away for a month or so then came back. Changed out the solenoid and all good since. They're about £80 each from Soper, one bolt to fit but fiddly due to lack of space.
