Wladimir Klitschko or David Hayes

Haye. I used to train in the same gym back in 2005/06 and Adam Booth would run the boxing coaching. Both are actually great guys so I'm quite a fan, yes the trash talk is a bit tiresome but it definitely gets exposure! I'm backing him for a KO but wouldn't dare put a round on it. Didn't want to go see him live this time after spending a fortune on seats for big mac clash. Bit of a joke that one. This should be pretty lively though. David will be playing a longer game I suspect this time.

which camp are you in?

I'm thinking Hay is going to do it around the 6th round.

As a Brit I'm ashamed to say I'm in Wladimir's camp. I think he's a great fighter but what did it for me was a recent interview - David Haye has been so OTT with the PR game getting too personal & just acting like a scally yob.

Wladimir on the other hand is so chilled, comes across as a real gent & away from boxing does so much humanitarian work, kind of makes it hard not to want him to win!

Wladimir 5th round! ;-)

wills did you not see the programme last night with Haye Vs .... it was really good, showing Haye with some celeb friends in the ring kinda having an interview but with a few laughs and him giving them pointers sparring.

I've seen haye in quite a few programmes out of the ring and he comes accross really well, I have no doubt he does him bit for charities also.

I don't really rate Klitschko as a technical boxer.

I'm in the Haye camp. In the world of boxing it's refreshing to see Haye & Booth doing at the business end of the sport as well as in the ring. Gotta respect that

To be fair I've only judged him on the one program last month - I'm sure he's also a charitable bloke & most of the banter was tongue in cheek. Maybe I can be converted..!

Anyone paying £15 to watch on Sky..? :-0

i'm still in the Ricky Hatton camp

na I left that camp a while ago! I was in Vegas coming up to the fight, although we were due to be in San Diego at the time of the fight, we nearly stayed in Vegas even though we were getting chucked out of the MGM as it was FULL! thankfully we never though, but sat in a bar all day to secure our seats... for what? what was it again? 3 rounds? I did loose a $25 bet though :headbang:

Not a big fight fan i'm afraid, more a footie fan, when those boys lose it on the pitch and get their handbags out....... :)

As for boxing, my admiration goes to the heroes of yesteryear, people like 'Gentleman Jim'. 'On May 21, 1891, James Corbett fought Peter "Black Prince" Jackson, a much-heralded bout between cross-town rivals, since Corbett and Jackson were boxing instructors at San Francisco's two most prestigious athletic clubs. They fought to a draw after 61 rounds.'

Speedway riders do it better, Craig Boyce knocking Tomasz Gollob out despite wearing a helmet

However Im in the Haye Camp, even more so after this video. (Contains offensive language)

who lost their money then?

everyone who paid to watch the fight by the sound of it. Am i right in believing Hayes is saying he lost because he fought but had a broken toe so couldn't put his weight down properly!
So he was happy to take the money and turn up for a fight knowing he couldn't perform properly!! I think he would have done his fans more of a service by owning up to it and pulling out but i guess the fear of not getting the chance again and losing the money was too great, sorry - too much of a cynic.

Wasn't quite the coronation he was looking for! WK was looking in amazing shape and his game was spot on. No complaints with the result, David was just not up to it on the night. Fair play.

Only lost a fiver bet with a mate but I did loose an hour of my life watching that rubbish  the start was a farsh! Seriously what was all that about?

As for him trying to say he had a broken toe. Wtf? The last fight he had a broken hand and was punching with that

Guy from work was over there, said it was a good atmosphere, but was soaked
