Would appreciate any info as to what sort of issues faulty joints on the wishbones would be. All other suspension parts i have renewed already including
shock absorbers. The problem I'm having is that sometimes there is a nasty sounding crunching which only comes when the front nearside wheel drops
in a pot hole or bad road rut. It sounds as it the stress from the suspension is passed up through the suspension torsion bar onto the bulkhead where the two
bars meet. There is a slight movement in the wishbone joint directly behind the wheel but I'm not sure if that's normal.
Any ideas will help. :!:

Have you recently replaced the front wishbone rear bushes or "lolloipops"?
Can you give a list of suspension parts renewed?

I have changed the wishbone rear bushes actually they were the first of the renewals i had had done.
Other parts changed are, anti roll bar bushes, track rod ends, drop links, shocks and top mounts. I have now ordered new wishbones
and will probably have them by next Tuesday.
I think now that you mention it this noise started after fitting the wishbone rear bushes :!: And today i checked the bolts that anchor
the strut cross bar from the top of the shock to the bulk head and found that i was able to give two of the nuts a complete full turn,
i hav'nt had a chance to try it out yet to see if that's made any difference.

Good spot the strut brace fasteners slacken and create quite a nasty noise in the cabin. I have been caught out by this along with a number of Z owners
