Wiring Loom Help Required

I've bough all the connectors to make the TV loom. Not worried about actual TV but nice to have the bits around me in case of projects in the future.

Now the diagram below is unclear to me. I understand the solid lines (either straight connections or joined to another wire), but what is meant by the dashed lines? These are obviously wire joined together but not sure how

Yes, I would agree as you can see where the sheild is then grounded on the adjacent terminal.

The plugs I have are used with 6" of the loom attahced. Hopefully this will help, otherwise I will tap you for info in a couple of weeks :wink:

If that correct though on the bottom of the diagram that some of the wires are only earthed at one end?

If you ground both ends of the sheild it can cause issues on some electronics as you have multiple earth paths, thats not specific to what your doing but use to have similar issues on mini bms systems had to install
