Thanks This has saved my life. I've had parasitic battery drain for months. Who new there was even an "oddments compartment", let alone that there was a light in it! Faulty switch meant that the light has been on for months? Years? Decades?

I'm still using newTIS. Even though it was "shutdown" by BMW you can request your own logon and get full access to BMW manuals.

Thanks but I've had a look at newTIS but it no longer seems to allow new registrations. I can get to a login page - which would be fine if I already had a login, but I cant find where to register unfortunately.

Fill in a feedback form and you might be surprised by getting a result allowing you to enter a personal password to regain access.
They make a point of banning you passing on any password you may receive and do not encoruage putting links to their site to pages on forums or message boards. If you do they monitor and will delete your user if you dont abide by their rules.
