Wiring adapter for stereo upgrade

Hi all, I am fitting a kenwood stereo to my e85, can't seem to work out how the adapter plug I got with the stereo fit plugs in to plug coming out of the car. Do you have to take wires out of plug? Been a few years since I done this.
Any help much appreciated as always

I have that connection but I can't see how it plugs into plug coming out of the car. Do I have to remove the blue strips off the plug coming out of the car

All sorted just squeezed plugs together and it works. What a plonker I am. So used to factory fitted touch screens
