I got myself a wireless remote for my Canon Eos 50d recently. Works from up to 100 yards away. It was only 18 quid on amazon and works really well.

I have fart-arsed about with it tonight to try for light trail with 2nd curtain flash. Got the idea right but execution needs more work on it. But you'll get my drift regarding effects you may get.

Nice effect. I like the ghost effect created with the car. The remote is a godsend i use use mine almost every time i try to be creative

Petach, you are very probably right, but i really just don't get it, i am sure it would look better without those streaks

Defo need a bit of work with the settings, especially the white balance. Apature is also way to small by the looks of it.

Can you give me a link? I have a 40D and would be interested in getting a remote, I know the 2 bodies are very similar.

I need to get myself a wireless remote too - currently using a wired remote that only cost a few quid from ebay, but a wireless would be cool 8)

Gulp. :o

I've just checked at Jessops £59 - I don't think I'll bother. :(

I'll stick to using the time delay. :)
