Wireless Portable Speakers? Which one?

Well after a few demo's in a large department store.... We decided that the Logitech UE Mini-Boom was the right speaker for us!

It's small and packs a little punch, perfect for taking on holiday & for use in the garage

Did alot of research on these some 18 months back and ended up with the Bose Soundlink 2 and been very pleased with it, pricey, think it was £250 at the time but weighty and beautifully made with a nice sound and good volume, always been a sucker for bose stuff.

Bose have just reduced the price of the SoundLink Mini as the new version has come out, was £170 now £127

I know this is still a little over budget a bit but it blows the others out the water sound quality wise,
I use mine when cleaning the car, just sit it on a stool on the driveway lol

Where from? Still £169 on bose website.

I was in a Bose store in Braintree on Monday and they had loads of them at that price.

Were these refurbed? I've got a race on Sunday near Braintree, so I'm quite tempted to pop in.

visited 'Cheshire Oaks' outlet with Bose outlet and bought a refurb for £126. Amazing, that sound has no right to come from such a small object. Happy.

I wasted my time buying smaller/cheaper bluetooth and line-in devices for a couple of years, before recently buying the Harmann Kardon Esquire Mini (link). Absolutely brilliant piece of kit! It works on bluetooth or line-in, lasts for absolutely ages on a single charge, connects to multiple sources (i have both iPad and iPhone connected at the same time, so can watch films/listen to music and answer calls at the same time). Phone call quality is fantastiic, and overrides the music - once call is completed, it seamlessly switches back. It also works as a battery backup for my iPhone, as it has a usb-out charging point. Its about the same size as an iPhone, but a bit thicker and heavier.

BTW, its only around £70 - £75 in Japan, depending on exchange rate... usual UK rip-off on electronic prices.

Jawbone Jambox, no competition for the price. I got mine last year on black friday deal for £60, and i'd buy the same again.
