Wire Colours

Hi everyone.

How can I tell the polarity of the speaker wires for the rear mids? I am upgrading with Subs and an amp and I need to cut the wires to 'tap into' the sound system at this point. I have the 6 speaker set up as standard with sat nav on a Nov 86 E85. I realise you can tell by using a small battery but as you can't see the mids to tell if they are popping in or out it's a bit difficult to do this. Just wondered if anyone has come across this?

i think there was a loom diagram on one of my links in the faq.. failing that the bmw wds wiring diagram list is online too, altho not the easiest way of working it out.

It's about somewhere though - I used it when I found the feeds for my cleansweep.
