R ronk Lifer Durham Aug 26, 2014 #5 Afraid that most things like this are not the norm and without the crystal ball will need the spanners out! I'm not being negative, just a bit pragmatic. It does appear to be either linkage or spline drive without the benefit of more detail.

D daveparkinson Member Aug 27, 2014 #6 Wiper fixed worn out linkage made a wire washer. Fixed it to the ball clip it around the complete joint works perfect
