Agreed.

Afraid that most things like this are not the norm and without the crystal ball will need the spanners out!
I'm not being negative, just a bit pragmatic.

It does appear to be either linkage or spline drive without the benefit of more detail.

Wiper fixed worn out linkage made a wire washer. Fixed it to the ball clip it around the complete joint works perfect
