Euro car parts have a 50% off flash sale. Pair of Bosch blades are now £8.99 with the correct aero lip on the drivers side. Just ordered some myself. Put in wiper50 in the checkout screen. Says it ends at 9pm

Thanks for the tip!

As long as you don't mind the last inch or 2 not sitting flat against the screen, you can't go wrong for that price.

Very annoying, do any fit properly? I assume the dealer ones do but the last time I got wipers from a dealer (different car but the same reason) the were about £40

Dealer only I'm afraid. Nothing else fits perfectly.

I've got Bosch fitted and they leave an inch or 2 clear of the screen when they are at the bottom of their travel.

Seems Bosch do 2 sets, one normal one with a 20" straight blade, usually the cheaper set, and a what they call 'vehicle specific' set that comes with a 19" curved blade for the passenger side, sits almost perfectly on the screen, only coming away right at the end where you can't see in the car anyway

Well they are on and yes they do leave a small gap. However the ones that were fitted did as well. Quite pleased at that price

Have just fitted a set of Bosch to the E85. The far tip of the n/s wiper sits very slightly off the screen when parked - but only for 20mm at most. Not noticeable unless you look for it.
Only annoying thing is I didn't see this offer til after I'd paid £22 at Halfords. :headbang:

The Bosch and OEM construction is totally different. But yeh, if you can live with the tip off the screen, for the price it's alright. For me, I'd go OEM.

Hi everybody
the ceaper way to fit the windscreen blades is to change only the rubber parts, both of them and keep the original metal parts.
Works perfect.
Excuse my english
