Wipers issue- not the usual SOLVED

Hi all

One for the collective view!

I have an intermittent issue where the wipers are ‘on’

With no switch input they intermittently sweep the screen
When I move them to intermittent position, they are fully on
If I move the stalk further there is no change in cadence

I’ve cleaned the motor for grease
I’ve changed the switchgear and slip ring on the steering twice
I’ve looked at the gm5 module

Still does it

Any ideas where I should look?

Well it does sound as though the switch is always one step ahead of itself but you’ve changed it? What else is in the system? Relay? I assume the motor has permanent power and the switch completes the circuit?
Dodgy connector plug on the switch?

was isolated so thats why I wasn't sure
