Has anyone suffered with this ! Wiper blades making a noise as if the windscreen isn't wet enough ! Even when it's peeing down arghhhh so annoying ? Just on the drivers side ?

Ok guys is this something I can do myself ( I know nothing and I mean nothing about spanners and screwdrivers etc) and I may not gave explained it to well but to me it sounds like the wiper on the glass not the linkage ?
I had the same issue - annoyingly with new blades (the old ones were silent 
)
For me Mer windscreen cleaner and a slight twist to the wiper arm worked a treat.
The blade needs to be at 90°to the screen in its starting position or as it drags back it makes a noise

It's not the video I saw first time around (the technique in this one looks a bit brutal), but the message/theory was the same
It only took the very slightest twist to cure the problem and the Mers cleaner finished the job off

YEAH ! That's it brilliant - looks a bit technical for me though .....involves mole grips ! LOL

Hi - see my edit above. I didn't fancy the mole grip approach either - did it by hand
My theory was that the old blades were silent, so it shouldn't take much (and it didn't)
Like Swifty said as well, make sure all is nice and clean - blades & screen

Hold on - despite your check it could still be the linkage -
The pressure exerted by the wiper arms is a factor of all the connections which brings about the pressure between the screen and the wiper - try lubricating all the parts mentioned (including all the small parts of the wiper itself) before buying new wipers - it's an easy fix and saves you money before moving on to new wipers - nothing lost and worth doing in any case.
Then if it doesn't work go for the renewal?
