Wipers and jets not working.

Hi

My wipers have stopped working. You can hear a relay click from the glove box when they are turned on. The jets still worked intermittently but now don't work either.
I've looked at old posts which suggest the relay but Sopers say the jets don't have a relay ??

I'm about to go and test the fuses but the fact the relay clicks I presume they are ok.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Oh, and it's raining. Typical.

Update.

I've taken the wiper motor apart and clean it but I seemed fine and still doesn't work. I've got power going to the small wire going to the wiper motor but not one of the big wires (which I'm told should be live).

I've taken the fuse box apart and ordered a wiper relay to collect tomorrow.

Hopefully this will work or its a trip to the Indy.
 
I've got the fuse box loose. Reading a guide on here I need to remove some plugs and live feed to move the box around to gain access behind. I'm not looking forward to it !!
 
Well, replaced the relay. You can get to the relay without removing plugs if you lay on your back in the footwell.

Turned on wipers and nothing. Tried it 5 mins later and they are working fine. Turned wipers off to put the glove box back together, tried wipers again and they were dead. Left for 2 mins and they are working. I left them working for 20 mins or so.

Any ideas why it's intermittent ? I've cleaned the contacts and the wipers park fine. I'll keep trying them ever few hours today and see how I get on.
 
I recently had an issue with no spray coming out of the jets, I took the water bottle out and the filters before the pumps were partially clogged, that resolved m y issue but if you are trouble shooting bits and taking theses bits out to look at might be worth doing as well. good luck.
