Wiper stalk doesn't do anything

Hiya.

As per the title, my wiper stalk is basically useless and it'll work maybe once or twice per start of the car and will not do a spray either when pulled.

If I do get it doing something, the flick to do one wipe might do 2-10 wipes and occasionally finish back at the bottom of the screen.

Now I know it could well be the wiper motor being full of grease but would that stop the windscreen squirters doing something?

I've already picked up a wiper relay in the hopes it's one of those!

Any advice appreciated.

Intermittent wiper contacts on motor will cause the fault you have with the wipers.

A blocked washer motor will stop this working. Pop the motor off the bottom of the bottle and remove the slimy gunk that builds up.

I realised that is actually under its warranty currently still from when I bought it, here's hoping they sort it!

Update.
It's been two weeks since my wiper motor and linkage was replaced under my sales warranty and thankfully its been working exactly as it should!
