Wiper Stalk Broken

Hi all

My wiper stalk has broken, nearly snapped off!

I can just about get the wipers working, but cannot activate screen wash.

I've seen replacements online which are not too much, but I have seen conflicting info on whether you have to take the airbag and wheel off to replace the stalk.

Has anyone on here had to replace the wiper stalk and how did you do it?

If it’s like replacing or fitting cruise- fairly simple

Recall doing it on an E30 too

Cowling off
Unclip and unscrew

Replace

May be easier to buy a 2nd hand one off a breaker or eBay?
