You could try just giving them a good bend so that they fit flush? That seemed to work well on my old VX220

I went for the Trico ones because of the longer mounting point, thought it would suit the lines of the car better.

They both look good, will get some when my current ones are a bit more worn - hoping that wont be needing to use the wipers for a while anyway!

I just, tonight, got and fitted some new wiper blades, whole blade not just the rubber insert. £3 each from tesco, appear to fit and work as a set of wipers should.

Time will tell I suppose.

Is the '£3 from Tesco' bit a joke or have I just been serously ripped off with my £20 bosche wipers ?

No, £3 each they were and they fit and work fine.
