Wiper blades?

Not the most thrilling of subjects, but I'm looking for replacement wiper blades as mine are gubbed. Found this site: http://www.wiperblades.co.uk and prices seem competitive.

Then I found these on their site:

Universal retrofit flat wiper blades @ £5.90 for driver's side (21") and £5.80 for passenger side (20") - they get an excellent review on Autotrader.

Too good to be true? I'll soon find out because I've ordered a pair...

Just seems a good offer for them so heads up to other Z4 owners if you're looking for some.

Will do. I was only looking for regular blades but these aero ones are dirt cheap.

I've also heard Tesco sell aero wiper blades for £3 a piece but I couldn't find them in my local store - worth someone with a bigger Tesco checking it out perhaps.

Total was £11.89 including postage and they work great.
 
Hi ,bought the same type of wipers off ebay and found them very good wipers,have driven in torrential rain and withstood up to what the british summer can chuck at them.The item number on ebay is 180390850430 the pric is buy it now £8.48 + 2.49 postage and that price is for a pair.Hope that is of some help
 
I had these on my Golf. They were a great product but I didnt like the big lumpy block that connects them to the arms. I changed them back after a while as they looked so obviously like add ons. shame though
 
ye i know what you mean they do the job but obviously add-ons.Would the wiper arms off a later model Z4 with the oem bosch aerofit wipers fit on to a 53 model by any chance,as the lump in the middle of the retro fit does spoil the look.
 
although they have a ''lump'' in the middle i would have thought they look better than standard because they have fussy looking metal bits and pieces.

i need some new wipers im going to give these a shot i think
 
Ah well I've ordered them anyway! I'll soon see if they're any good, although I Rain-X on the glass anyway so only need "average" wipers as it is.
 
I bought the Trico NeoForm Flat Blade Retrofit wipers from wiperblades and the passenger one doesn't quite sit flush at the far end. Would be great to know if the universal one fits better!

Same as the Bosch ones... just a feature of the windscreen and probably why they dont come as OEM. Who looks through the tax disc anyway :?
