Ok, so I need some replacement wipers. I've discounted aero ones as just don't like the look of them, prefer standard appearance. Have realised wiperblades.co.uk is the cheapest by far and would like Bosch ones (I think?), but not sure which ones to go for:

Too many choices :dizzy: !

And to confuse matters, they have a clearance option too:

What would you recommend? Sorry it's a boring thread!

Cheers in advance for any opinions... :)

Oh, PS - Just found a relatively cheap price (I think?!) on Castrol Edge 5w30: http://direct.asda.com/Castrol-Edge-5W-30---4L/001022050,default,pd.html

I bought the Bosch set with the spoiler (£13.01) for mine so it stays on the screen in wind or at speed - a good deal cos spoiler blade sets can cost twice as much as this from some other places. The only thing that irritates me is tha the passenger one can't handle the curve at the edge of the screen, so doesn't sit flush and leaves a (small) part-wiped strip at the very edge. Don't notice it to be honest though.

I bought the Bosch set with spoiler but to be honest they are no where near as good as my original BMW set in my opinion. The BMW ones have less metal, loads more rubber, better built and seem to cope better in bigger downpoars. The Bosch set seem to scratch my windscreen more and don't clean the top passenger side as well.
However BMW ones will set you back nearly 40 quid.

Is there anywhere I can pick OEM ones up for on the internet that will be a little cheaper than £40?

I know you dont like the areos but ive just recently got them for both the Z4 and boxster, ill get them for the freelander after winter as the wife seems to get through blades during the frosty months!!!!

I really like them myself painful spending £20 on 2 blades but how little i drive and use them its for the cars life with me... lol

Cheers

Has anyone found any aero blades that follow the curvature of the passenger side? How bad are we talking?

Aero are the wholly rubber ones without metal fittings, right ? In which case I think they should follow the curve fine. My next ones will be aero, just to try them out.

Nope, they won't. It's the aero ones that can't cope with the curvature. I have them though and it's not an issue to me as they look much nicer than OEM.
