All the best to you both, can’t stop thinking about you  MikeyH

Thank you,
We are good, got into a routine now. Our son and daughter are doing the washing and cooking me meals. We are a good team, smiling and having a laugh. To see Sean smile through all this fills my heart ❤️

Must just add, my boss at work is allowing me to work flexi hours. Very supportive.

It seems that both you and Sean have understanding employers . Good to hear

Little up date on Sean.
NHS have supplied an electric recliner. Had to take the controls off Sean he keeps pressing buttons! Nearly tipped himself out.

His tongue has swollen so much he had to write things down to communicate. Being confused with the drugs and tumour pressing down on everything, his writing does not make much sense either. We have resorted to thumbs up, thumbs down.

Scary how quickly things change, Sean is unable to walk unaided now.

We had a little dance yesterday to a song on radio. Sean in his chair, I held his hand and he moved his arm to the music.
Want to end on a positive 😊

Look after yourselves and enjoy every day.

So sad to read.
Those last three words are a lesson to us all.

Please let Sean know we’re all thinking of him and make sure there’s someone there to look after you too.

Ok now you have made me cry . We should all be aware that things can change so quickly and we never know what is round the corner but rarely do we take time to make the most of what we have . Two thumbs up from me to you both

I can’t think of any words that could help in your situation. But like everyone else I am full of admiration for both of you.

Sorry to hear this but also made me smile that music was still a happy moment for both of you 🕺🏻

Thinking of you both

Thanks for the update Mel. Please tell my “Big C Buddy” to hang in there… we promised each other we’d give it everything we’ve got. I know he certainly has so far, I am thinking of you both constantly. Big love and admiration 🥲.

:( this is so sad, i wish i was better with words and could think of something meaningful to say :(

Shocking news, I'm truly sorry this has happened and so quickly too. Wish you both all the best. Mike

Thank you for the update. So sorry to hear Sean's condition has quickly worsened but it is heart warming to hear you are still sharing quality moments listening to music and dancing. You seem to have a good little group looking after each other. It is lovely to hear he is surrounded by loved ones.

Sean and you are an inspiration to us all. We know Sean is being well looked after but don't forget, the carer needs care too.
