My car might even arrive earlier than the expected early delivery.
Possibly next weekend! :driving:
apparently car has tracker fitted and now being prep'd for delivery and should have plates put on next thursday.

so all good news, but now wondering about paintshield.
It's rather expensive for an all over film. But does come with a 4 year no-quibble warranty
About the same as a set of winter wheels i am thinking (maybe even more expensive depending on alloys ... was thinking 17in turbine style or 18in 313s)

if it was your money - what would you spend it on? :scratchhead:
Paintshield or Winter Wheel set.

i think i have already decided what I would spend the money on (the wheels), but would be useful to know what the general consensus is. ..or if I should not spend the money at all (and save it for some other use like an Anschutz 1918 Rifle :guns: , or detailing maintenance plan)

17" winter wheels will be your best bet, and the turbines look nice. And get the paintshield too, at least on the frontal bumper/bonnet area.

Looking forward to the pics :sweetheart:

not sure my budget would stretch to both!
i've been quoted >£2000 for whole car paintshield (although i get the impression they are the best in the business from various forums) ..am I allowed to mentions prices on here?

not sure about other fitters/brands.

Yeah you can mention prices. It's expensive at over £2k, just the bumper and bonnet is, from memory, under £500 which is much more like it. I wouldn't bother doing much else than that.

£1460 for the winter rims and tyres (wheels same as 23i std ones, like the Bumblebee)
