The best decision I ever made!
When winter comes and everyone else is sliding all over the road and get stuck on a sprinkling of snow, I'm cruising along with no problems. I fitted Marangoni Meteo Winter Tyres and I am very impressed with them (in fact I still have them on)! I've had them for two winters and they are great, the ride is amazing - soft and smooth and much less tramlining then my summer tyres. They are good in the snow, they are awesome in the wet - which lets face it, is what mostly plagues us here in the winter i.e. wet and cold temperatures. I bought them from Kwik Fit, but I would never use Kwik Fit again after a couple of really dodgy and downright dangerous experiences with them both for me and certain family members.
PS Tests have shown that winter tyres are more effective in the wet, and in temperatures around 7 degrees so that covers more than just winter in the UK! In fact my winter tyres were still safer than summer tyres up until around June this year with the long cold spell we've had, particularly if you drive at night or early morning when temperatures are generally lower.
