Winter tyres - will these fit my car?

I have an E89 sdrive 2.0. My current summer wheels are 225/35 19 (front) and 255/30 19 (back).
I am considering the purchase of a set of winter wheels all the same size 225/45/17. I don't really knows what this means but I'm told that they are BMW Wheels 8j x 17, offset is 29.

Are these likely to fit, is it ok for all 4 to be the same size. Will the speedo work ok?

Hi Tony, they should fit just fine. I've got a set of Style 290s from an E89 on my 3 Series and all four are 8J x 17 with 29ET and 225/45 tyres.
 
The only issue is the rear tyre offset..they probably will fit, especially if not lowered…speedo will be fine
