I thought I would share a couple of pics with the new shoes for winter, nothing special, just some 17 inch cheapies from Tire Rack with Dunlop winter sport 3D's for sneakers.

Just chillin after a bath

I should thank AlanL for the inspiration :hattip: . He has the same wheels on his Si coupe. Great traction in the white stuff and a V rated tire as well. Now if I only had a hardtop...

This car with winter tires on handles like a dream. We have at lest an inch of fresh powder on the ground and I have no trouble at all, even with the traction control off the car handles just fine, I actually like driving in the snow, it's sort of fun if you know what your doing and this car is so superbly designed that it makes it all that much more pleasurable

I've got my winter shoes on too....
But my baby hasn't been out of the barn since I put them on.

Here the temp is hovering around 1-2 degrees (36F ?) and the difference in traction on the roads is amazing compared to a few weeks ago (still have normal tyres on). My car starts in 2nd gear in comfort mode and even then on a very light throttle the traction control is on.

I think winter tyres are a great investment, especially if you can keep the Z on the road for longer.

I agree.... I never eally moth ball mine for the winter,
It's nice to get out an a clear day, regardless of the temp.
This year however....... IDK if we ever get dry roads again
