I have to say I'm enjoying the 'coupe' experience though :)
Ah, you're showing early symptoms of The Cooop, it's a bit like a mid-life crisis where the world looks too big and scary so you want to return to the womb, it's characterised by an initial yearning for small enclosed, airless spaces to make you feel safe...

Wash your mouth out with carbolic, take two paracetamol and go and lie down for a couple of hours in a cool dark place followed by a bracing top-down hoon and you should find that the feeling will pass...

 Thanks for the 'slap' Perry :driving:

I am past retirement age and I have only had the roof up once as it started raining. Felt really strange driving with the roof up and I wouldnt recommend it.

If the sun is out, regardless of temp, it comes down.mwas in the E85 last winter, it was 8c outside mine, so roof came down as the sun was shining.. By the time I left town, it was down to 4c
BUT I think it's a better experience roofless in the cold, than the hot.. Nothing like a sunny, crisp cold morning drive roofless .

Enjoy both - roof on for a long distance motorway run, roof off for an A/B road run, especially early frosty mornings or late starlit nights

Of course, if the methane generator known as son-and-heir is in the passenger seat, roof on is a big mistake .....

Done 160 miles this morning with the roof down, got some strange looks when I was on the m74 from Glasgow to home, surprised my gf was up for it tbh, I loved it. :driving:

This morning I covered 130k between 4am -6am on the french autoroute , the toll booth operators definitely double taked  & there were mutterings & looks when i stopped for a coffee around 5-15am :P heated seat on , woolly hat & some good tunes the world & the miles just flew by

Well having climbed to the Highest point in Southern England on Sunday evening, in a T shirt, with a wind chill at the summit of -4. I headed back down to the Zed dropped the roof and put on 3 further layers of clothing ready for the drive home. Just as I was about to, switch on the heated seat and drive off a couple walked past the car and the guy says Great to get the top down. Indeed I reply. Then they proceed to drop the roof on a lovely little Lutus 7 rep & climb aboard.

What a wimp I am. :D
