 Back of beyond.....and turn left
Unfortunatly our Zed has an outdoor existance.
Can anyone suggest the best type of outdoor cover to use for the winter (First person to say a garage gets thier tyres slashed) and how much and where from. I have seen that BMW do one but not sure if it is heavyduty enough.
We get very high winds and driving rain but not much snow and the cover will need to protect the whole car.
Many thanks :D

My Z lives outside has done for nearly 3 years rain snow and sun and still looks as good as when i bought her have thought about covers but heard about and seen some horrific damage caused by them.

This is not to say that they are all bad but you can pick up custom made covers for under £400

Mine is also outdoors
I am trying the BMW 'Tarpaulin' cover which just covers the glass, like a cap
This is to try and prevent window sticking to rubber in sub zero temps, preventing door openning, lots of threads early this year
I use use gummi pfedge (or however you spell it) to also help alleviate the problem
The challenge with any cover is to ensure the car is dry before putting it on otherwise it will freeze to the car.....

i have a genuine bmw cover, fits very well and never had a issue with it

The only thing missing from that picture Taz are the land mines and patrol dogs

the barriers are to stop dick heads reversing into it

if i could land mines there i would :!:

Cheers for the advice.
Love the anti-idiot system.
The should have an infaltable barrier system built in to stop the common folk getting to close.
