Wing mirrors

Random question, but are the wing mirror housings angled differently on either side ? I swear the passenger one is angled more towards the driver than the driver's side one, but the difference is so subtle that I can't tell if my eyes are deceiving me or there is something wrong with the mirror position.

Makes sense that they would be different, and I am sure I have seen a cautionary post on here before about buying wing mirrors from LHD cars because of this, but I've never noticed it on my other cars. Does anyone know what I am on about and can answer the question ? :?

as subtle as me thinking the bolsters on my sports seats enlarge when I press the sport button to make me more snug in my seat? :P

If you are the same shape as me then I know the answer to that one - it's just you taking a deep breath before flooring it :D

There will be a difference, it maybe the external housing at different angle or the internals or a bit of both.

I remember the old mercs which had one wing mirror half the length of the other.

A lot of cars have the glass itself bent more on the passenger's side to account for the blind spot.
i love how the hertz cars i have say "items will look closer in the mirror"
