How can i stop my wing mirrors automatically dipping when i put my car into reverse? Its a 3.0 SE......

Dipping - you mean rotating in order to show you the kerb ? I didn't even know this was possible :? Perhaps some sort of programming needs changed through the key ?

Yeah, so i can see the kerb/road

I think if you select the switch on drivers door to the passenger side mirror it will stop doing it ! Think its a handy that it does it auto ! Wish the wife would use it to save the wheels ! Lol

Ahh! Didn't realise we could have this on the Z4, I do want it!

Will see if I can get it coded somehow as loved it on my e46.

Si

Not linked to folding mirrors ( I don't have them)
Not listed as a programmable feature for my year and model, car or key.

... But it works as I described above, so perhaps it's based upon year and model given some don't appear to have it.

Interesting, I was asking about this recently. I'm due a service so will ask when it goes in...

Tapatalking...
Do you have folding mirrors on your Roadster, Stuart?

No, but neither does cj10jeeper. Was thinking about it as a retrofit. I tilt the passenger mirror down when parking, and always forget to put it up again until I'm someway up the road.

ah, OK. I believe Glyn has it fitted to his Roadster so looks like it might have been an option on 2006 models? i would also be interested in this as a retrofit...

I would love to have this feature (even my Golf i had 10 years earlier had it)... but i dont, and it wasnt available on my car.

Maybe it is only with electric mirrors and the auto box :?

Mine's an auto, but I've never noticed this - I will be going for a play straight after breakfast !
