Wing mirror glass

I just glued my £10 ebay special on...

one smashed, the other fell off in my hand when I checked...

BMW price was frankly laughable :o

Another question - my car has an auto dimming interior mirror - should my exterior mirrors be auto dimming as well or was that a seperate option? I'm only asking as the one I've bought wouldn't have this auto dimming function and I've never noticed the outside mirrors dimming like the interior one (which is bloody good I have to say)
 
Not sure Cibbers.......Never had dimming side mirrors, Not even sure if it was even an option. Someone with more BM experience will advise.
Dimming usually needs a LCD type mirror with light sensor/activation. :?

Yes auto-dim exterior mirrors were an option from the start of production and yes, do require you to have the interior dim mirror as the source of how much to dim.

Not sure if they can just be retrofitted by plugging in or not - don't know if the loom is there ready.
 
Cheers, I don't think mine has them, I've been blinded by 4x4's when sitting in traffic in the side mirrors

Hopefully the mirror I've bought will be ok!
