Well just had to drive home holding my mirror glass in as become loose :| are they just held on with that double sided pad like number plates? Just want to check before I pull it off.thanks guys :driving:

Please no jokes about pulling off my mirror for cheap thrills!i should know better than to leave the door open like that on here!

bizarre how it just happen's ? both mine were fine then 1 was loose ? then a week later the other ?
stuck like fury now though  they ain't coming off in a hurry

Mine fell off afew days ago, just held on with adhesive which is junk not pads. loads of info on here if you search
I used silicone on my drivers side, not so lucky with the passenger side as it did`nt bounce when it hit the floor

Thanks guys, will silicon it on tomorow

if it was me i would remove the opposite mirror also & sticky that back ? a stanley knife blade does it .
mine were only slightly wobbly so prised them off a little more to get clear silicone behind

I thought so too... only realised mine were heated when i looked out the window and saw steam coming off the mirror. Looked weird, but cool. So definitely no way to turn them off? I don't like the sound of them being on all the time, sounds.. wasteful. Will surely just reduce the lifespan of the feature...
