Any one know a good and cheaper place to get one from?
thanks in advance

yea looked on ebay, there is so many to choose from, flat, blind spot, convex, wide angle. not sure which one i need

I suspect that "blind spot, convex, wide angle" are eBay speak for the same thing. Post a picture of the other side and I'm sure one of us can help.

Someone else here bought some from eBay a while ago - see how they got on.

Only thing beyond that, are they auto tinting?

ebay :D

happened to mine, thread about it when that happened... I'll go look for one like I bought...

here you go: Z4 wing mirror much cheaper than the dealer :D

Oh and check your passenger side one - mine fell off too when I touched it to check :o

The glass on my driver's door mirror just dropped off when I was driving. There is a plastic sheet left. Can I glue a new mirror to the sheet and will the heating still work? Also I rang BMW, who quoted £111 for a heated, retractable non-dip mirror, but they are on eBay for £12.99. Is there any difference?

the bit you can see is the heated pad...

I bought an ebay one and had no problems glueing that onto the pad. I nearly choked when the stealer told me the price for a new one

The passenger side mirror fell of in my hand as we were cleaning Rachels' car at the weekend. At least we don't have to buy a new one.

What I wanted to ask is what glue did you use or what is the best type of glue to put it back?
cheers

Has anyone tried these ebay mirrors? Any good?
Couldn't tell the difference with my drivers side replacement from ebay. Couldn't use the supplied heating pad though as that was the wrong fitment.

I had the same issue, put my foot down and 'ping' off flew the glass.

Here is a company I found that does exactly the same thing as BMW want to charge £100+ for
