Wing mirror glass fallen off

Just shut the door after parking up and wing mirror glass fell off.

Can I just stick it back on with superglue or double sided sticky pads or is there an official way ?

That happened to me earlier this year.

I stuck it back on with Araldite and it has been fine since then.

I had just phoned my brother and he said the same thing, Araldite. Wondering whether to pull the other off and do it at the same time.

Yup I stuck mine back in about three years ago, with some general purpose glue from B&M. It's still there.

My drivers side mirror glass came away in my hand when I was washing it about 6 months back. Stuck it back on with JB Weld Black RTV as I don't think most superglues/epoxies will cope well long term with the constant heat from the heater elements

My passenger door mirror fell off about 5 years ago and I used Bostik all purpose clear adhesive and it's been fine ever since
