I caught my wing mirror while reversing out of my garage this morning and the cover came off 
i tried to put it back on but it wont stay on i have had to secure with some insulation tape as a temp measure. It is not the original cover but a carbon fiber replacement. How are these secured on? it was dark this morning so i couldn't see much. any help on how these are secured on would be appreciated.
