Wing Mirror Caps

Can anyone tell me how to get the wing mirror caps off?
I don't want to start pulling them in case I break anything!
 
I carefully prized mine off with my fingers. Start in one corner at the top and once the fist clip releases work your way along. You need to be firm though. Alternatively push mirror glass down and use hook tool too pull the glass out. Look inside and you will see the clips. Using a flat bladed screwdriver push the first clip to the side whilst prizing the mirror cover off. I found it easier pulling them off to be honest. When replacing make sure you get the clips located corrently as they can snap, they're only like plastic prongs.

I popped mine off with my hand. Be careful when putting them back on,clips need to line up I broke 1 of the clips. New one under warranty :D
 
Just prised it off with a plastic tyre lever, worked a treat!

Wheels all being re-coloured, new rear tyres, & gloss black mirror caps all being done next week!
