Windshield cowl guard replacement questions.
The rubber seal around the windshield is dry rotted, it needs to be replaced BEFORE I put the new cowl guard on the car. Is the removal of the old seal going to be difficult? It's hard as a rock and does installing the new seal need to be done by a pro or should I try it? I'm going though a list of items that I want to fix or check out. This is one of the things I hate about buying a used car. It took me a long time to find a low mileage one owner non smoker Z4 that was the color my wife wanted. Also I wanted a 3 liter and automatic. I replaced the tires and cleaned the car for weeks. I hope I'm getting close to having a clean occasional driver for her. Thanks in advance.
