windscreen

Hello all, I am after some advice please. Over this next weekend I am having to replace the windscreen on my Z4 due to a low flying stone (L.F.S.). Above the passenger on the windscreen is a warning notice about the airbags and the roof. Would anyone know if this comes on the replacement windscreen or not? If not where does one purchase this?

I've had 2 replacement screens and neither have had a notice about this. Why does it matter anyway?

Safety notice is normally on the sun-visor not the screen.

For any stickers that are not on the replacement screen, you can always buy them from the dealer/ebay.

But why does it matter? I personally hate any stickers. Our fiesta st has one on the passenger sun visor which looks awful.

Bit weird if you ask me.

Take a picture and show us what you mean. Although I have a coupe, I've not seen a sticker on the windscreen of a roady, as others have said, it's usually on the sun visor.

their is a part number on the bottom corner. i like to see these original stickers in place, think it looks right imo... each to their own i guess!

Whilst we're at it, you may want to buy yourself a new windscreen rubber trim.

The windscreen repair companies use a pattern part trim and it doesn't always look great. It can also split in the top corners.

If you're that anal about a sticker, you'll go off your head at the trim :lol:

I did contemplate removing it, but the thought of keeping it oe made me keep it. Be interested if it can be purchased from the dealer.

Yes, they can be bought.

If you buy the windscreen from an OE source and go for the whole kit and caboodle, you'll get a new sticker too.
