Alright guys

I have got some quite wide scratches in my windscreen i have tried to hand polish them out with glass cutter stuff but still there will i be better off with a machine polisher if i can get one?? I do have a couple of chips on the passenger side which i was going to get fixed on the insurance i have an excess of £75 to pay if they need to replace it. If i cannot get the scratches out and the insurance can repair the chips. Would my best bet be for my screen were to have an "unfortunate" meeting with a rock and pay the excess to replace it?

I'd say it would be best to have the misfortune of a large stone hitting it on the motorway.

My windscreen had some bad arc shaped scratches in my line of view so "a brick hit mine", best £75 excess i have spent, they also replaced all the seals as well....
