Windscreen won't de mist

I've a 03 E85 3.0i auto. There is very little air coming through the windscreen vent's even with the blower on full tilt and the de mist button pressed in. I saw the thread about a blocked pollen filter, so changed that but still have the problem.

The windscreen won't clear, and its becoming a real pain. Any ideas please.

do you get a normal strength blower output when you have it set to cabin/floor settings?
if that is also weak i would look at the blower motor/resistor.
If its strong on those settings i would look at the directional flap operation for the screen setting.
regards

It works fine everywhere else, just the windscreen, thought it may be something to do with the flaps.

Hi, did you find a solution to this issue? It's just happened to me this morning, blower works fine in all settings other than blowing on the screen (barely working at all). Hoping to find a solution here before having to resort to taking it to a garage.

Any help would be greatly appreciated,

Thanks.

This has happened to me on a few occasions. I believe the flaps that control the direction of air flow are vacuum controlled and can fail to engage properly, if you cycle through windscreen, body, feet letting each one engage as you go then it sorts itself out.
