Windscreen Wipers

Bosch 3397001584 is the correct part number, they're the same as the OEM fitment, but a lot less than £35 for a set. I got mine from ECP for around £16

Got the Bosch set from Halfords they sit fine.

General question (not to hi-jack the OP's thread); is it correct that all passenger side blades extend past the screen by a few mm? I thought maybe the blades on my newly aquired car had wipers fitted that were too long, but looking at some other Z4s I see it seems to be a OEM thing?

The OEM style ones, and the Bosch part I mentioned above, have a curved passenger side blade to prevent the wiper from lifting at the ends.

Under £20 with the discount code, may be even cheaper on Carparts4less.

They have the curve on the passenger side to sit against the screen properly, same as OEM.

Thanks, saved me some cash I assumed the proper fitting wipers were dealer only.

Yeah my wipers curve as well, but when in the rest position the furthest most end (from the driver's seat) still sits around 2cm off the end of the windscreen?

Sure they're on correctly? They should be curved upwards at the ends (like a smile). Mine are only a couple of mm away right at the tip, not visible from within the car at all.

Do you have genuine BMW ones or the Bosch OEM style ones?

The 'fancy', flat-blade type ones don't curve very sharply, so will dangle over the NS edge of the windscreen when resting.

My solution was to by a normal length driver's wiper, and a 2" shorter passenger's wiper...but I forget when I replaced them before the last MOT.

Can anyone corroborate this, as I've bought & fitted these off the back of this (serial number is to or Bosch 584S) and the passenger side has huge gaps either side!
