Windscreen Washer

Hi, i was topping up my water for my windscreen washer during the week and i noticed that there seems to be small particles and residue in the water tank. I presume there is some sort of filter between the water tank and the pump. If there any easy way to clean out the tank and change the filter (that's if it has one of course), thanks in advance
 
Well if it were me I'd just run the hose in the tank overflowing the top until all the crap washed out.
I'm assuming it's part of the screenwash that has settled out and limescale from tap water??

I'd leave the pump and any filter it has alone as IMHO touching such things causes breaks or leaks.
 
Cool, thanks, leaving a hose in while the water overflows seems like the sensible thing to do, thanks Phil
