Windscreen washer Jets

Hello
I have managed to syphon out my screenwash and clean out the bottle so there is no gunk left. I can see the filter in the bottle is now clean. I can see the hose that goes to the jets its bound with electrical wires as apparently its heated. I'm just getting a small dribble of water through both jets so I think I need to blow compressed air back through the washer jets but a can't find anywhere to disconnected them. I thought it might be under the bonnet sound protection but I can't figure out how to get the clips off to take a look. I'm thinking mechanics isn't for girls! I'm working on my 2015 Z4 any help would be appreciated. Thank you Becs.

Hi

Had exaxtly the same issue on @IRD car last week

The issue is with the hose that runs from the pump that’s situated on the reservoir to the jets-
When the bonnet is dropped into place the hose kinks and restricts flow…

Kneel down and slowly drop the bonnet whilst watching the lay of the hose- a suggested solution is use a lolly stick and some insulation tape to prevent that kink

👍🏻

As an extra precaution to prevent kinking I covered the hose with flexible plastic cable protector. It’s cheap and just clips on. It’s also worth putting some Milton in the water in the tank and leaving it for a few days to help remove any remaining gunk before adding fresh water and washer fluid.
