windows won't close on the key, even after programming?

Hi,

Took my car into my local dealer to get a few things looked at. I also wanted some settings programmed to the car.

Triple flash indicators and daytime running lights went in fine, but it won't take the comfort windows settings - the one where you double click the unlock on your keyfob and it half opens your windows to help you get in, and you can hold the lock button to close them when you get out. The computer is saying its been set, the car is apparantly reporting its been set, but its not working.

The BMW dealer says they've seen that on one Z4 before, and they're waiting for a software update. But if they take it in again and nothing happens, they'll say its my car, and charge me another £40!

Has anyone had this problem? I'm confused why my car wouldn't accept it?

car is a 56 reg Z4 coupe

I got this set on my car last week - takes forever for them to close though - need to hold it down a fair while.

I also got my memory seat set to my key - which is very temprimental!

Don't mind the time it takes so much - didn't use it much on my previous car but it can be a lifesaver for getting out in tight spaces

doh. For some reason the 'double click' window opening *is* working, but the daytime running lights aren't (I'm in auto lights mode). Muppets.
