Windows on roof open/close position help!

Hi All,

Some of you maybe aware that I changed my steering wheel recently, so I had to disconnect the battery!

Now when I operate the roof via remote (gaptech+) or by the dash buttons my windows retract in random positions or don't move at all? :headbang:

I've tried the reset window reset procedure! Any Ideas?

Might be something to do with the auto function of the windows needing reset after disconnecting the battery ? Random guess, but if you've not done the reset I'd try that first.

EDIT - sorry, didn't read all the way to the end of your post :oops:

Has the reset worked, i.e. the auto / one-touch function is working ?

Gaptech working fine.... Roof operates no problem.... Windows lower ok but don't raise back up when roof is locked back in position!

Just read after doing a search it can take a few times to reset the windows! So ill give it a few resets tomorrow! Fingers X'd :?

Turn ignition on....

Pushed the open window button until the window opened, then kept it pressed for 5 seconds longer.

Pushed the close window button until it is closed, then held that for 5 seconds then released...


:thumbsup: WORKS NOW! AFTER 4 ATTEMPTS! :thumbsup:

I always go through the reset cycle at least twice in one sitting now, so down, up, down, up, ignition off then on again to test. I think these cars have mild ADHD and need lots of repetition - must be the hooligan in them :D
